Fusheini Musah, Apr-Jul 2011, Report

NSAWAM ROAD CHURCH OF CHRIST EVAGELISTS MONTHLY REPORTS TO MISSION MINISTRY GHANA

MONTH: APRIL- JULY, 2011

PROGRAMME SCHEDULED

On the month of April, 3rd – 17th I programme myself for the churches and schools in Gushegu District. The churches are doing well and even the church in Gushegu town is also doing well for this very month I had different activities with them. Bible classes every Wednesday with the nearly villages and seminars with the church leaders once every month market days because the market days are mainly for rest. They do not go to farms and we always meet in my house I live in Gushegu in the yard because we have no church building yet we are trying to look for money to buy a land. It is our prayer and effort to buy the land for the Church in Gushegu because the church itself has no money to buy the land.

On the month April within these three weeks I also introduced the World Bible School lessons to Gushegu District. I have five J.H.S in Gushegu tow with the total of one thousand five hundred (1500) students and one S.H.S which is also two thousand (2000) students and outside J.H.S is also two thousand (2000) students because five more J.H.S are outside town which is total of five thousand five hundred (5500) students and they are all ready to received the World Bible school lessons. The lessons sent was one thousand five hundred copies and these number of copies were only up to the JHS in town, there are Waternear JHS, Demonstration JHS, L/A JHS, E/A JHS and Marikazia JHS and some few students from the SHS and that was all the lesson. Now I am still waiting for the lessons for the rest of the school in the District, kindly pray for the Churches and the students who have just started the World Bible school lessons to know the truth.

On the Month May first and second week I went back to these schools to gather the lessons for postage and during the collection some student asked me so many questions about the lesson and I did explained to them and now anytime I am in Gushegu many of them used to come and study the Bible with me just to be able to study the lessons well. The Senior High Students who used to come to me some are Christians and I also visit them in the school with a plan of having campus ministry with and I am sure God willing will do it.

On the month of June there was a second lesson given back to the students in Yendi Municipality in May which we decided to be post in fist week of June. In the firs=t week of June I went round the schools to collect the second lessons of W.B.S which was given to them in May 2011. We all have areas we work with in distributing and collecting of W.B.S lesson in Yendi. I have eight schools which I work with WBS in Yendi Municipality, there are Gnai, Yendi Presby, Nayakubu, Malezery, Sunsong, Sang Islamic No.1 and 2 and Kpabia JHS these are the schools I work with the WBS lessons in Yendi Municipality. You know I work with the Churches and WBs in Gushegu District which I mention already and Yendi we have so many schools and Churches and sometimes I scheduled my work both Gushegu and Yendi just because of the work load in Yendi. For example where Chief Adams works we preachers sometimes shared the area among ourselves and even if I am in Gushegu I have to comedown to Yendi to take part before going back to Gushegu.

On the month of July form 17th, 24th and 31st I taught in Kuga Church on the topic of ‘Eternal God how God’s supreme and sovereign for these three weeks. What even made me happy was that, upon all Papa Musah cannot read his contribution on this topic was very great. The lesson was very interesting throughout. Infact the old man is encouraging the church. He used his wisdom and sometimes brings out quotations I continue to asked for more prayer for the oldman.

On the same month of July 25th we had a naming ceremony in Kpanashe one of the churches in Gushegu District. We had a brother in the church name Issahaku who is the leader of the church in Kpanashe Issahaku is from a Muselem family and for that matter the family are not happy of his Christianity and it has mad him long time to get a wife just because of his a Christian. Sometime his own brothers would discourage the woman and his will tell Issahaku to become a Muselem or etes Issahaku said no you know God been so good last two years papa Musah found him a woman in Yendi and she accepted him and they marriage and she gave birth to a baby girls in Kpanashe. The Mallams of the community wanted to name the child but Issahaku did not allow them to do so and sent a massage to we evangelists on the 25th July 2011 evangelist and some members of Kuga church moved to Kpanashe for the name ceremony of brother Issahaku newly born baby girl. A sermon was preach by brother Alhassan Yabdoo and the whole community gathered as there are first time of witness a Christians naming ceremony in Kpanashe. Actually the church there was almost dead because it was left with some few people and after the outdooring the community is calling back that they are ready to accept the church fully. Even one Mallam said he was discouraging them and now he promised not do that again we will soon be there to win more soul for Christ and we are asking for prayers to do the work for the glary of God. So far this is what I have for you.

May the good lord richly bless you.

Thank you.
