NSAWAM ROAD CHURCH OF CHRIST EVANGELISTS QUARTERLY REPORT TO MISSIONS MINISTRY, ACCRA – GHANA

PERIOD: JULY TO SEPTEMBER.

EVANGELISM

My home Church, Buaduyili has recorded one baptism on the 3^rd July, 2011. My presence has increased the attendance I continued to frequently visit and encourage to remain faithful to the Lord.

The onset of the raining season has made it difficult to cross certain streams to reach some of communities. We continue to pray for this village for the Lord to guide and protect them till such a time that be favorable for us to reach them.

On the 17^th July, 2011, I visited Frigmado church and encourage them to remain faithful in Christ. They organize fasting and prayers, every last week of the month. This helps them to grow in spirit.

On the 7^th August, 2011 I visited Yinsala Church, I preached to them to remain faithfully to the Lord and also to encouraged to organized the fasting and prayers for them to stand faithfully in Christ.

We the evangelists also preach Christian religious studies at the Church of Christ- school in Yendi and we do visit them every week ending, which is every morning on Fridays at least 30 minutes before we hand over to the teachers. And it helps them to know the Christ.

I visited Wambung Church on the 21^st August, 2011 and encourage them. The reception was cordial except that no baptism was recorded.

I and my brother Paul also went there again on the 4^th September, 2011 and successful won 10 soul for Christ.

I have also visited and exhorted the souls of already existing congregations such as Wambung , Buaduyili, Kanimo, Frigmado, Yinsala, Andoyili, Diseikura and Timunkado to mention but a few among others. What I discovered is that they really need regular visits to encouraged them, help strengthen their faith.

Thanks so much for your support and concern for the work of the of the Lord. All the villages mentioned above are far part.

In general the works here need fervent prayers from the brotherhood.

EDIFICATION

We have been doing communal labour for village communities outside Yendi: on every third Friday of the month there is no home of praise by evangelists

(songs of thanks and praise) for what God is doing for us. We the preachers have monthly fasting and prayers for our preachers oversea. On the first Wednesday of every month, the second Wednesday of every month is also used for fasting and prayers for Lord’s working in either the whole world or Northern Ghana. All these house been proofed to been effective. The world Bible school campaign and the programme is effective in Yendi Municipal. The entire Junior High School students in Yendi Municipal were able to enjoy the world of God.

We the evangelists have been collecting world Bible school (W B S) material distribution and posting them back to the united states of America (U S A ) and is use as Evangelism.

The lord blessed the family of Joshua and Pakpena with a bouncing baby boy at Boaduyili this happens to be more or less the first second since the church was established there. The church members organized a naming ceremony on the 28^th August, 2011.

Brother Isaac Azindow Damba and I went to grace the occasion. The opportunity then came for us to exhort all those from the communication who came to witness the ceremony and it was highly Commendable. I and brother Paul also was invited to perform a namely ceremony organized by the Wanboung church on 4th August, 2011 the same month and Yinsala church also was invited. We the evangelists to come and perform the naming ceremony on the 14^th August, 2011.

On the 9^th August to 10^th August, 2011 Brother Dan and his brother coming from the village of Hope Accra came with clothing and shoes, we the evangelists went to village to village to help distribute the items. The beneficiaries were happy. This was possible through Brother Andrews who communicate to them.
